Dear 痴汉俱乐部 Families,
This week is a busy one for students, staff and families 鈥� finishing projects and squeezing culminating assignments and tests in before the winter break, all while making time for some fun celebrations. It鈥檚 times like these when we see, once again, the incredible passion and commitment of our school communities 鈥� one of the things that makes our 痴汉俱乐部 community so special.听听
With the first big snowfall this week we know December is upon us and winter is in full swing.听 痴汉俱乐部 schools and workplaces are filled with energy as students, staff and families come together in many ways, taking part in rich and diverse learning opportunities, including performances, community events, and charitable activities.
I would like to begin by taking a moment to acknowledge the Honourable Justice Murray Sinclair, who passed away on November 4, 2024.
As follow up to the 鈥淲elcome to School鈥� information session held in August, 痴汉俱乐部 and the New Canadians Centre will be hosting a virtual check in for New to Canada and Multilingual Language Learner Families on Wednesday, October 2 from 6:30 鈥� 7:30pm.
In partnership with the New Canadians Centre, the 痴汉俱乐部 District School Board will be offering a one-day introduction to school听information session听for New to Canada and Multilingual Language Learner Families.听
痴汉俱乐部's 2024 Community Report Card offers a unique glimpse into the many amazing achievements of our students, staff, and school communities during the 2023-2024 school year!
It was our great pleasure to听honour听Ryan Ramage, Head Custodian at Buckhorn Public School听(PS), at this week鈥檚 Employee Recognition Dinner as the recipient of the 2024 Sherry听Summersides听Award.听听
This award recognizes a deserving, non-teaching employee of 痴汉俱乐部, and the criteria includes a demonstrated dedication to education through their work and/or their voluntary involvement in our school communities.听听
Students at R.F. Downey Public School are starting their mornings in a positive way, ready and focused to learn, thanks to the volunteer efforts of Amanda Murugan who supports the school鈥檚 nutrition program.
