What do you enjoy most about working with students?

I am dedicated to providing the highest quality education to my preservice teachers, preparing them to meet the critical needs of today’s K–12 students. Drawing on my 25+ years of experience as a classroom teacher and Reading Interventionist, I believe I bring a valuable, practice-informed understanding of literacy instruction to my students, while emphasizing hands-on practice to help them build the skills and confidence needed to succeed from their very first day in the classroom.
