What do you enjoy most about working with students?

I really enjoy class discussions with students, learning their perspective helps me view my discipline with new eyes. In a consumer behavior course, students create short videos explaining theories from the course in unique ways. The creativity of the students and diversity of videos produced is so fun to observe.
What Students Say
Dr. Burrus consistently leaves me with the confidence that I am prepared for my future endeavors. Between the day-to-day syllabus work she assigns, the variety of outlets for course information, the diverse guest speakers and challenging projects, I always leave her classroom with my questions answered and the knowledge that I am growing academically. Because of her unique syllabus and warm classroom presence, when I finish the semester I know that I am walking away with a strong understanding of the topic at hand.
